Sound spheres carved in limestone

Sound spheres carved in limestone

The carvings are coming together and I am much clearer in myself what I am aiming for.

It was good to have a break and dive into drawing and model making.

I am carving sure of something without being fixed.

This is a good place to be in and I can carve all day long, even under my tarp in the pouring rain, which we had rather a lot of the last few days.

These spheres will be a installation and I have ideas about how to display them, there will be more than these three spheres to generate some visual movement.

I have decided to buy a piece of marble to compare carving imagined sounds in a much harder material than the french limestone I have worked in the past months.
